Unlike traditional, circular earbuds, the design of the new Apple EarPods is defined by the geometry of the ear. Which makes them more comfortable for more people than any other earbud-style headphone.
The speakers inside Apple EarPods have been engineered to minimise sound loss and maximise sound output. So you get high-quality audio that’s just as impressive as what you’d hear from more expensive headphones.
The Apple EarPods with Remote and Mic also include a built-in remote that lets you adjust the volume, control the playback of music and video, and answer or end calls with a pinch of the cord.
- Designed by Apple
- Deeper, richer bass tones
- Greater protection from sweat and water

Well worth the purchase
I have been looking to buy a new set of headphones for a while, however, couldn't justify spending £100+.
This evening I decide I have been looking to buy a new set of headphones for a while, however, couldn't justify spending £100+.
This evening I decided to buy a set of EarPods from my local Apple Store. The quality of the sound as good, if not better than some of the professional headphones I have tried over the last month.
The tones are clear and the base is superb. I thoroughly recommend EarPods if you are looking to replace your headphones …

Clear sound, comfortable but utterly useless in day to day use
These came with my iPhone 5s, I tried them just to see how they would compare to my Dr.Dre Beats I got with my old HTC some 4 year These came with my iPhone 5s, I tried them just to see how they would compare to my Dr.Dre Beats I got with my old HTC some 4 years ago. The sound quality is great - providing you're sitting in your living room with no people around. On the street you can hear EVERYTHING that's going on around you, they cancel zero noise. They are comfortable but don't stay in your ear even when just walking around, forget about running with these. Mine are now permanently confined to my PC at work as that's the only thing they are good for, my 4 year old Beats beat these hands down in just about every single aspect. …

Absolutely wonderful, great quality and no degrading of that quality. My experiences with these EarPods are excellent and no cheap Absolutely wonderful, great quality and no degrading of that quality. My experiences with these EarPods are excellent and no cheap ripoffs come anywhere close. Alas mine finally broke through my own carelessness and the jack bent. They still work (amazingly) but with a broken jack I don't want to risk plugging them in. I might have to forego a replacement due to budget though. It's a shame. …

In other words, for £25 (currently), they're absolutely fantastic. The frequency range is slightly larger than the average earphone and I believe a low-end was boosted sightly so you get a more 'natural feel' in your ears. These are a ridiculously massive improvement on the previous earphones and in comparison to other earphones at that price, you get a lot of sound for your money! …
