I have had 4 of these in the past month and have had the same problem with each. They work fine until i suspect a wire comes loose I have had 4 of these in the past month and have had the same problem with each. They work fine until i suspect a wire comes loose in the top of the cable (where it enters the device), then it will only work when it is pulled or pushed into certain directions, until eventually it will not work at all. Im sick of wasting money on these cablels. A new cable must be brought out. …

Each one has developed the same issue where the cable buckles around the ends. They are terrible quality especially at £15 a pop with postage on top! I took my current failing charger into the apple store and they blamed me for the damage even though I have used it in the same manor that I have used EVERY mobile phone charger I have ever possessed. Disgusting quality. …

I now need to buy a fifth cable...
I have an iPad 3, an iPad mini for my son and an iPhone 5s. So far the only cable still working is the iPhone 5s cable.
I have re I have an iPad 3, an iPad mini for my son and an iPhone 5s. So far the only cable still working is the iPhone 5s cable.
I have replaced the 2 iPad cables once each already and 2 months ago the mini cable again stopped working. Earlier today the cable for my iPad 3 stopped working and will no longer charge.
This is ridiculous that products as expensive as iPad have such shoddy charging cables. I have no choice but to buy another cable as no doubt the iPhone 5 cable with break in the next month.
Apple, read the reviews and sort this out.... …

Very poor design and quality

The design is poor, the quality awful and the price is high. Not what I expect from Apple and personally I think Apple seriously need to address this. If I could give 0 stars I would,
Apple, please sort this out, listen to your customers, I think you'll find the majority agree it is a poorly designed, overpriced step back from your usual attention to detail. I believe a serious re-think and a move away from this form of connector should be very high on your list for future models, no wasting our time/money trying to fix it and no ignoring what the majority of your customers want. The Lightning Connector is not a success and unlikely ever will be; accept this and do what you do best and solve this problem in your usual way with a new elegant seamless design please. …

Will iPhone 5 data USB cable work on ipad 4.
- Asked by Ann Marie A from Manteca
I'm not the biggest tech savvy; but I do know that it will work. Even though it works; since an iPad I'm not the biggest tech savvy; but I do know that it will work. Even though it works; since an iPad 4 needs much more power than an iPhone 5; it will take much longer to charge since the iPhone 5's charger doesn't use as much power. I have also heard that it is not healthy for devices when you use chargers that aren't necessarily created for them. I wouldn't take this risk though, you should just purchase a separate charger that will help deliver the appropriate amount of energy to your iPad. Good luck! :) …
