    I have bought various iPad cases over the last year and now wish I had not. This case is fits the iPad 2 very well, though it appe ars to be made for the new iPad, so there is a a very slight gap. Nevertheless, the case fits snugly enough. I saw someone using one of these whilst travelling from Jersey to France and asked him about it. I was impressed and immediately went online to buy my own from Apple. I have just bought my wife an iPad 2 (refurb) and intend to buy another of these cases for her. Yes, you do pay a bit more for quality! …

    After spending too much money buying various cases for my iPad made by 3rd parties, which turned out to be unsuitable for one reas on or another, I was pleased to find out that Apple had finally produced a case that will cover the front and back of my iPad.

    I bought the dark grey version immediately and don't regret it. I was a bit concerned because some reviewers were claiming the iPad 2 didnt fit the case properly but I find it to be a great fit (theres no way its falling out).

    It has a soft touch, grippy, feel but it doesn't feel cheap and rubbery. It is very lightweight and slim, which is the main thing for me as I found previous cases to be bulky and heavy.

    I really like that the volume and sleep keys are covered by the case and that the case features 'buttons' for them. I always found reaching these buttons abit of a fiddle to get to on previous cases.

    My only complaint is I wish they had produced one in black, but the dark grey case does look nice on my black iPad.

    Also, I dont find the edges to be particularly sharp as other reviewers have stated, but perhaps I hold my iPad differently.

    All in all, very happy!     …

    I bought a cheap cover on eBay and thought I had saved loads of money. It broke in about 4 days. Bought the Apple one with some Bi rthday Apple Store vouchers and happiness ensued. Yes Apple products are ALL EXPENSIVE buy they are pretty well always well designed and the best option. …

    I love all apple products and I love my pink smart case for my iPad 2 however, when I try to insert the camera connection kit that holds the USB, it does not fit. The case somehow does not let the connector through and I have to take the case off all together. The case also gets quite dirty and brown in some areas quite quickly. Overall love this product to pieces and keeps my iPad safe from any scratches and marks! …

    Does exactly what it says but is very 'wobbly' when using the stand; I take it a lot on planes and don't trust the stand not to fa ll over with the slightest bit of turbulence which could lead to the screen smashing. Shame really as it is a very good cover with a funky colour (I chose the red one; looks really good). …
