I got one of these adapters with my iPhone 3GS - it's absolutely tiny ! To give you an idea, it's actually smaller than just the plug part of the old 2-part style power adapters. That means it's incredibly light and small, and is no trouble to carry around with you.
UK power plugs are always clunky because of the design of our 3-pin sockets, but this adapter is about as small as you can possibly make it. A little expensive, so I'm knocking off a star for that. …More63 of 69 people found this useful

i'm quite confused on the reviews about people saying bad comments but i just bought mine today and it works really well.. it comes with a usb cable. fits perfectly into the socket.. the cable does not come out of the plug (like some people said it does) its perfectly fine so i would recommend this =) …More

I got one of these little wonders with my 3Gs and HAD to get another - I can't believe it's so small! Even the fact that it's "UK-style only" isn't an issue when traveling - it's so compact compared to other USB chargers that this plus an international adapter is still easier to carry than the old adapter + UK + "A.N. Other" (or 2)plug-heads... my only question - if this can work so well at this size - why do we still have blooming huge heat-pumping power things cluttering up our floors and hanging precariously off our power sockets?! …More

I agree with everyone that this is a stunning piece of design and a real space/weight saver. It's the best job they could make with the constraints of Britain's industrial-strength power sockets. The USA charger is even smaller, of course, and it would be nice to have Euro and Australian space-saver chargers.
I'm confused by some comments that this charger works only with Apple products. I've tried it with my Sony Reader (USB-A to Jack), MiFi (USB-A to Micro-B) and Power Monkey (USB-A to mini jack) and it charges all three. Am I missing something?

I got one of these plugs with my iPhone 3GS and am very impressed with the reduced size compared to my old 3G charger.
