Perfect case

This is the only armband on the market at the moment for the 3g nano but it is brilliant. Its made from very high quality stretchy and soft rubber. The nano fits perfectly into the pouch and is completely covered with see through plastic and the inside is felted so it glides in and out! You can also put your nike transmitter on too. Highly recommended. …More

Good idea, poor quality manufacture
Written by ED from COVENTRY

This armband worked fine, at first, fitting it on my arm and using the nano was ok if a little awkward because of where it fits on your arm, which I accepted as a limitation of the concept. However, after the first time of using it one half of the velcro strip holding the flap closed became virtually fully detached and clearly was never properly glued to the armband in the first place. So now I need to get it replaced under warranty. Hopefully, with minimum hassle. So ok only if the quality is up to the task. …More

iPod nano Armband
Ruined my nano
Written by SC from Edinburgh

I bought this case last summer as I wanted something I could use in the gym for running and weights without having to carry my ipod around in my hand.
The case itself is quite good, access to the controls is fine, and you can see the screen quite easily.
There are a few shortcomings though:
1. The velcro isn't very strong so the band falls of a lot while running on the treadmill or rowing (anything that involves a backward-forward arm movement)
2. This case does not protect the ipod from sweat. My nano gets wet from the case and has now corroded round the edges and at the dock connector. It's a real mess and has started to function erratically.
Basically the case is ok, but there's not much protection against moisture. I'm disappointed that the bad design has destroyed my nano - something I doubt Apple will want to put right! …More50 of 52 people found this useful

iPod nano Armband
good for arm NOT wrist
Written by AJ from Fareham

I originally bought this as in the description it states "wrap the band around your arm or wrist, and secure it with the adjustable fasteners". Unless you have huge wrists the size of the average arm this wont work as it is limited to how small it can fasten.
That said it is great on the upper arm or just below the elbow. I think a new description should be written really as yes you can wear it on your wrist - but it will be loose and rattle about. …More13 of 15 people found this useful

ipod nano 3rd Generation Apple armband
Written by AC from Woking

WARNING!!! do not use the Apple armband, especially turned in the upside down position. I only used my ipod at the gym for periods of 2/2.5 hours a day, 5 days a week. That generates a lot of sweat, which destroyed my ipod after 9 months. It corroded the casing, but more importantly caused internal water damage, which is outside the warranty. Apple were good by giving me a £21 discount to buy a new one, however, the 4th gen. ipod is not compatible with the old mains and car charger adapters or docking stations, so the discount was lost in buying new ones. Apple just changed the spec. so be WARNED!!! …More
