I love bose sound docks and this is my new favourite
This is my second bose sounddock I have the original sounddock 1 which still sounds excellent but I wanted something special I thi nk I've found it. At first listen I have to say I was a bit disappointed the bass seemed to over rule everything like it was too much but I had it playing on top of the box it came in ,so I got a cheap glass hifi stand from richer sounds (£20) and what a difference the bass is much tighter and well behaved now. Although everything sounds better than the cheaper sound docks the main difference is the bass it makes it sound much like a hifi but without all the hassle and bulk of a hifi like putting two big speakers either side of the room and finding that sweet spot to sit in the bose sounds great where ever you sit, it gets loud but never breaks up so ideal for party's but the best thing is its nice to sit back and start listening to music again like when we were allspending lots on hifi stacks and never quite getting it right. I'd recommend 100 percent for sound ,ease of use and value for money (also bluetooth connector will pickup ipad 4 )Thanks hope this was helpful …

It'it is the most professional sound dock I've heard, you do not have a Hi-Fi system

Great Room Filling Sound, can replace a full sized HiFi.
Simple to connect via bluetooth and can comfortably fill a room with good quality sound. The bass can easily be adjusted by positi oning unit few inches closer to the wall behind (more bass) or further away (less bass).
I found the best balance of sound is achieved by having apple devices music EQ set to off, that way you get punchy crisp treble and tight deep bass. I used to have a full sized NAD amplifier and floor standing Mission speakers, and this has given me an equivalent sound but uses up far less space.
Try and listen to your favourite music styles on speaker units when in store if you can, as I found demo music might sound great but my own tracks did not, this Bose sounds good with both gentle music (vocal/acoustic) and Rock/Dance. …- Written by Anthony W from Fleet
