Can I use the power connector from an old 2006 13" Macbook on a new 11" macbook air with the MagSafe to MagSafe2 converter?
I have an old 2006 Macbook with the original Magsafe power adapter charger and I'm buying a new 11" Macbook Air, which comes with the new Magsafe 2. I wanted to know if I should buy the optional Magsafe to Magsafe-2 converter? Will the converter work with a charger as old as the original 2006 Magsafe? Could it damage the macbook air at all?

Hi. I'm from Russia. I have MacBook Pro 15", made in 2011. Will this adapter be sutable for my Mac and can you provide shipping to Russian Federation?
In Russia costs on Apple devices are very high (for example, adapter like this will be near 4000RUR it's about 140USD), so sometimes much easier buy devices or acessories abroad. And this time the main question is about shipping to Russian Federation.

how do you know which adapter you have based on the numbers on the adapter?
I thought the size of the 60W and 85W was different, the 85W being larger, but was just told that this might not be the case. I got my MacBook Pro in Sept 2007 and the square adapter was included. How do I know if its a 60W or 85W?
Thanks.- Asked by Cara F from Succasunna

Will it work on an airplane ac outlet that claims to provide only 60 watts? With my basic HS physics, (P=IV) 110V*1.6A=176watts seems to too high.
176watts exceed the 60 watts output of the outlet. Or does the airline mean the max DC power output of the charger? (When I mean airline I actually mean Northwest/Delta Airbus A330-200)

Answer
The correct charger for the 13" MBP is the 60W version.
This 85W version is designed for the 15" and 17" MBPs but will work OK with the 13".- Answered by Nick B

Is there a way to purchase a Power Adapter that is specific for countries other than the US?
I have been using a country-specific adapter on my Power Adapter in Israel for 3 months with my MacBook. I am planning to stay here for another 5 years. Will this system continue to work with the different voltage or should I look into getting an Israel-voltage-specific Power Adapter, if one exists?
