This only holds the ipad, there should be plenty of life on a full charge for most journeys.

AnswerAfter contacting Vogel's, they told me that ipad 3 is totally compatible with TMS206 (the cover of the ringo kit). But before buying it I will try the system in a shop with my ipad.

Best AnswerYes. Use the aux cable like you would for your ipod, or via blue tooth. We use blue tooth in our Ford Edge.
