Best AnswerNo, but there is an adapter you can buy that will fit the two together. Bose has just come out with the new docks for the new speedier connector.

should i get a 32gb or 64gb iphone?

Best AnswerWhether you get a 16. 32, or 64 GB iPhone depends on how much music and how much the tunes are compressed, how many videos, how many pictures, and how many apps you will have on the device.
For most people the key factor will be the number of tunes at what bit rate you have. For example on my iPhone using the lowest bit rate, 128 kbps, 5,295 tunes use 21.3 GB of storage, at 192 kbps it would take 25.4 GB, and the highest bit rate 256 kbps bumps the storage to 29.4 GB. Using the Apple headphones my hearing is not good enough to discern an appreciable difference in sound quality between 128 kbps and 256 kbps. However if you were playing through a high quality sound system or very high quality headphones you would likely hear a noticeable difference.
A full length movie will take a little under 2 GB of storage, but thanks to iCloud storage, photos end up taking little storage on the iPhone. Storage required by apps is dependent on the particular app but the 91 apps installed on my iPhone occupy 8.6 GB of storage.
Only you know what your habits are and only you can judge how much storage you need. My wife just upgraded to an iPhone 5 and went from a 64 GB model to the 32 GB version after looking at how much storage she is actually using (only about 12 GB). I will be upgrading Monday, and I am going to stick with the 64 GB model. In truth I only use about half of the storage, but I like to have a lot of "headroom" for expansion if I need it.- Answered by Joe B from Fort Worth

Best AnswerNo. iOS 5 brought over-the-air software updates to the phone. To ensure no problems when upgrading software, make sure your phone is connected to power, and under a strong wi-fi sign for the entire update. Most problems with software updates happens when someone leaves their wi-fi signal during the update, or the phone doesn't have enough power to boot back up, putting the phone into recovery mode and requiring you to hook-up to iTunes and restoring software, which you will loose all data. To make sure data isn't lost, make sure you do the above every time!

Can I hide apps or lock specific apps?
I have kids who like to use my ipad and iPhone to play their games. But they can also sometimes accidentally click on apps of mine which they surely should not. Is there a way to put my apps which I would like to keep from them in a folder and then make it so that folder has to have a pass code to enter? I have not seen any thing like this and don't now why

AnswerThat's a very good point and I don't think that you can choose specific apps to lock. HOWEVER: If you go into Settings-General-Restrictions-Apps then you can lock apps with certain age-ratings. If you don't want your kids using these apps because they're age inappropriate then this'll stop them. To look-up the age ratings of your apps then load iTunes on your computer, select 'Apps' on the left-hand side and choose to show them in a 'list' and the rating is shown beside the name. However, if it's just that you don't want them using your personal apps then that's just up to them and if they will respect your wishes.

- Asked about: iPad
Best AnswerIt depends. I have both but everyone fits best for its main "function".
The iPad is more like a lightweight and "simplified laptop" : the screen is big enough to let you read/write emails, surf the web... the keyboard is almost as big as a real one... but, to me, its not a device I always have with me. The device I always have with me is my iPhone : I can do a lot of things (reading/writing emails, surf the web, edit documents, playing games...). I almost use the iPhone on movement (subway, bus, hanging out with friends) while I pick up my iPad when I'm not on the rush (it doesn't mean I have to be at home to use it, but I need to "sit down"). With the iPad I really appreciate the extra screen space (you can still write a long email on an iPhone but not with the same comfort), surfing the web, editing a document, reading an article, writing something is a much more beautiful experience here.
With the iPhone I really appreciate the "always with me" factor : are you thinking of this artist you can't remember ? Go on the net right out of your pocket. Are you on the street wondering if that restaurant is still open at midnight ? Just make a phone call. You are new in town and 're looking for the main station ? Let's take a look at google maps.
The difference (aside the fact that only the iPhone makes phone calls ;-) to me is : are you more like "to go digital" on the way or are you more like to "go digital" while "sitting down" ?
You can do exactly the same things with both devices (but phone calls on the iPad ;-), as you can see it's more about your kind of usage.
I hope this helps.- Answered by Morris L
