If you want to redeem an iTunes gift card, you would need to enter the gift card code in the iTunes or App Store Apps. If you scroll to the bottom of any of the main pages you will see a button labeled "Redeem"... enter your code there.

Yes, you can! Also known as engraving, you can engrave your iPod Classic, Nano, Shuffle, Touch, iPad 2, iPad (3rd generation) and iPad with Retina Display (4th generation). Please do note you can only engrave it within purchase at ONLINE APPLE STORE. You can't get engraving anywhere else but that.

Does reading through ibooks or Kindle for iPad use data?
I am looking to buy an iPad mini or iPad and want to use it for apps for our preschooler, reading, and surfing the web.
If you are reading using either iBooks or the Kindle app - is that considered to be using data? Or is just using stored content on the device? I am trying to figure out how much GB I would need to get per month through our carrier.- Asked by Erica S from Ocala

It does not use data unless you download the books away from wifi. Once they are downloaded they are stored on the iPad and is not considered using data.

I spent some extended personal time in Europe recently using my iPod for email and Skype-ing home. I ran into some hotels where I could not connect to their wifi. Only explanation we came up with was they were using older routers/software. The iPod fits in my pant's pocket so was readily accessible. But it is a small screen and at times is hard to use if wanting to book a flight etc. However I feel the iPad is too much bulk, etc (tried my son's) so was happy to get a mini. Just back from 5 days in central america where the mini worked just fine. No connection issues. Readable, probably not much more weight, etc. It is easier to find in my backpack. I dont mind it does not fit in my pants pocket small price to pay. My iPod is now used to store music for our Bose system. So I would say go with a mini IMHO.

All purchases made thru the store will be available to all of your devices at any time to be Downloaded. These items will download to your device when you select them on the device. With iTunes Match your music will be available on your devices almost immediately via streaming and you will not need to download the tracks to your device.
