AnswerThe iPad does not have a space for a USB input. You'll want to synch your documents through iCloud, or load them onto your device from your computer directly using the 30 Pin to USB cable.

ipad mini or mac?
Lately I find myself doing a lot of garageband recording and what not (editing and such). I am a high school student so I've just been using one of the schools mac but now that I'm doing a lot more than I anticipated I'm considering buy an apple product of my own. any ideas on which I should buy? I would most likely be using it for papers as well as internet surfing and making presentations. (also if anyone knows is M-audio recording is compatible with ipad or whatever would be helpful)

Best Answeryes, you can connect external hard drives for the iPad. I use one because i regret buying the 16gb iPad 3, because the storage is not enough.
I use Seagate GoFlex Satellite, it is a wireless external hard drive, and you can access your content from an app downloadable from app store. the problem is, when you connect your iPad to it, your internet connection shuts down, because your wifi connects to the hard drive, and you can ONLY access your content from the app, not in your usual galleries.
i don't really know if you can use it with a wired external hard drive, but the seagate model was the best one i could find.

Best AnswerNop. However I assume you would use the dongle for connectivity, and the iPad offers you 4G and wireless connectivity, so you wouldn't need the dongle. Plus most modern dongles are 3G, and iPad already supports 3G so just take the sim card out of the dongle and plug it into the iPad directly to get connectivity.

Can the Ipad 4 sync with the Nike Fuel Band?
I have an Ipad 4 (Retina Display) and am considering getting the Nike Fuel Band. However, the online Apple Store only shows the Iphone and Itouch in the compatibility section, even though there's a picture of syncing via USB with a MacBook Pro in the above photos. Also, under the "Did you notice" section, it mentions the following: Sync via Bluetooth wireless to your Nike+ FuelBand app.
That said, can the Nike Fuel Band sync with the Ipad 4 and thereby provide the same functionality as the iTouch sync? Granted, I'm not planning to run with my iPad, but if I can sync my workouts and accomplishments, that'd be great. Thanks!!- Asked by Jorge M from Fpo

AnswerYes, with iPhone's 4G connectivity you can be able to connect up to 5* devices, including your iPad. (Carrier charges may apply)
To enable HotSpot on your iPhone.
1. Go to Settings.
2. Go to General*
3. Go to Celllular
4. Activate Cellular Data (if not done so) and turn Hot-Spot on!
*Some iPhone's have "Personal Hotspot" link when you're in the Settings app. If it is, flick it on.

Could I mirror what is on my iPad to a screen with this, then also connect more accessories with the extra lightning port?
I was wondering about something like the Focusrite iTrack Solo. I know I would need to use a 30pin to lightning converter for this to work with the iPad and to fit into this adapter, but would I even be able to use both at the same time at all?

Will I be able to synch iCal iPad mini to MacBook Pro 10.6.8 with this Lightning to USB cable? I can't use iCloud with 10.6.8 and don't want Lion yet.
I have a MacbookPro with OSX 10.6.8 (iTunes version 11.0.3) and a iPad mini with iOS 6.1.3. I cann't get iCal and Addressbook on my MacBookPro to synchronize with the iPad. All info tells that it can be done, but how does one do it?
