I bought my iPad in September of 2011. Can I use this connector?

I am going on vacation and would like to be able to see my photos on my iPad. The website says this connector is only goog on 4th generation iPads or the mini. I bought got mine in September of 2011. Is this connector compatible?

    This will not work with your iPad. Yours has a 30-pin input; not Lightning. The correct adapter for iPad 1 through 3 is called "Apple iPad Camera Connection Kit."

  • No, there is a separate 30 pin camera connection kit for ipads with the previous (wider) port on the bottom.

  • No it's not. Your iPad has a 30-pin dock connector, this is for the new lightning connector on the iPad Mini, iPad 4 and iPhone 5 only.

  • No, this connector only works on the latest generation iPads that use the small "lightning" connector. You would need what's called a 30-pin connector.
