how thick is the case? and can i fit my 15 inch mac book pro with the case in a stm scout laptop shoulder bag

not sure about the scout - I have a Knomo Sterling bag that already had quite a snug fitting interior so the addition of this sleeve makes it quite a tight fit but still accessible so you should be ok.
