Amazing sound quality

We listen to a lot of music and we have all gone over to iDevices, so a dock was the way to go. It can be moved easily as it is lightweight, but needs to be plugged in. We found we wanted it in one place so we used the wall mounting fixing points and it is now static. The remote is palm sized, works seamlessly with your iDevice and looks good. Then there is the sound quality. Its B&O, so you knew it would be good but this is spectacular. We have a few sound docks in the family, dr Dre, Bose etc and this B&O one is fantastic, beating the others easily. Set up was non-existent it is just plug and play. …More

Cool looks and sounds

Stylish to look at and splendid to listen to, I bought this after listening to various docks, including some of the highest-rated, like Bowers & Wilkinson's Zeppelin, plus Sony, Denon, Bose, Pure and Roberts. I have a Quad hi-fit set up and can play my iTunes through that, too, and the sound quality from the BeoPlay is a good match. It's a bonus that it's portable and packs a lot of punch for its size. The remote is very neat, too.
I've always admired the cool, stylish design of B&O, and although this is expensive it was the cheapest way for me to own a piece of the unique marque – I haven't been disappointed. It's a lovely addition to any room. …More

Excellent sound and design but!

My main reason for purchasing this product apart from sound quality and design was because it was compatible with iPhone 5 and iPad 4. Upon receiving it there is no adapter for these products. Yes I can still operate it through air play. However I would expect if it is advertised as being able to charge and dock these apple products that's what it should do and it does'nt. I've been told that the adapter is still being developed? And I will get one free when it's available not happy about this!! …More

I have connected my B&O 8A to my iPhone 5 , to my MiniMac and to my Airbook. After performing flawlessly for a while, the Bluetooth transmission is interrupted and becomes intermittent. The problem has become worse over time. Very frustrating and disappointing. …More
