Best AnswerPeople often speculate about this Topic, but in reality: The average amount of songs that can be placed on 1 GB is 500 songs (aprox 3 - 7 min each).
Most iOS devices use about 0.5 - 2 GB of the actual flash on the device. So that means that you really have about 63 or 62 GB (subtract anything else you want to put on it too).
500 songs : 1 GB
31,500 songs : 63 GB
I will estimate that you can put around 31,250 - 31,500+ songs on you 64 GB iPod Touch.
It also depend on the the bit rate of your music.
Higher quality (bit rate) music tends to take up more space, which may affect the amount of songs you can have on your iPod. I have two versions of the same song: one copy is about 3 MB, and the other is 7 MB.

Best AnswerThe 5th generation iPod touch does not have an AM/FM tuner. Instead, you can download apps on your iPod touch that will allow you to stream radio programs on the Internet over WiFi. Another option is to purchase a 3rd party accessory that enable your iPod to receive AM/FM radio signals. However, such accessories are unpopular and are becoming harder to find among retailers. If you want an iPod with AM/FM radio capability, I recommend purchasing an iPod nano.

Yes you can, however you will need to sync your podcasts from iTunes on your computer since the nano does not run iOS. Therefore it does not permit streaming.

AnswerNo iPod shuffle only has earphone plugs and USB cable for iTunes only iPod nano and iPod touch has Lightning cables

AnswerNo product is scratch proof. The iPod touch 5th gen might have a more resistive coating but in the end, everything will get a few scuffs or scratches at the very least. Buy a case and/or screen protector if you don't want damage from daily wear-and-tear.

Best AnswerIt is similar to the black strip on the top of the cellular ipad. It is where the iPod receives the wifi and Bluetooth signals. Basically a cellular hub.

Which iPod is best for my 15 month grand daughter's music?
I have an IPod with music for my granddaughter. She enjoys "her" music so much, I would like to purchase a simple, not too expensive product for her to load with her favorites. Thought about the IPod Nano but there is no display so how can you find the music you may want; I.e. sleep time versus play songs.

AnswerThe iPod that has no display is the shuffle, not the nano! But giving the specifications you have provided I would go with the 16GB iPod nano, which is cheap and can store a fair amount of songs, videos, audiobooks etc. hope this helps
