Best AnswerThe Ipad Charger is 10 Watts the Iphone Charger is 5 Watts.
This means that the IPAD charger will charge 2X faster at 2 Amps vs 1 Amp for the Iphone Charger. Using a computer or Laptop is 2.5 Watts aka .5 Amp max.
All Work for Iphone or Ipad But the 10 Watts will charge the Ipad Faster.- Answered by Ann O from Washington

Best AnswerNo, the Microsoft office suite is not available for iPad. However, Apple does offer the iWork suite on iPad. This includes pages, numbers, and keynote, and is compatible with Microsoft office documents. They are great, highly recommended apps, each sold for $9.99 in the App Store.

my daughter has a kindle that only lasted 13 months (piece of junk)..... can she do all the same things on ipad? can she access her kindle stuff?

AnswerThere is a Kindle app, but with better experience, there's a free iBooks app, personally much better than Kindle. If she's thinking of getting an iPad, I strongly suggest it. My sister had her iPad 2 for 2 years and mine (iPad 3) is having its first anniversary on June 3rd, and still works like a charm and has a very smooth experience and AMAZING apps, better than on Android tablets. Worth it!

Hi,
Currently, there is no Ms Office for iPad yet. But if you need to view, modify and share your Ms Office files, you can do it on iPad using app developed by Apple.
Use Pages for Ms Word files, use Keynote for Power Point files, use Numbers for Excel files. However, from my experience, you will face some minor alignment run and font changes.
Buy the app for USD9.99 for each app from App store right from your iPad.- Answered by Hasliza S from Gombak

Is there an app to create files from Word, PDF , Excel?

AnswerI would suggest the iWork suite, as it is an app suite built by apple and is fully compatible with microsoft office. Pages is similar to word, Numbers is similar to exel, and keynote is similar to powerpoint. They are only 9.99 each for the iPad/iphone version, this means you can download one app and put in on both your iphone and ipad without paying twice. Certain fonts and formatting may not transfer fully; as microsoft has not released their own office apps suite, i think this is the next best thing as they are built by Apple. Also compatible with iCloud so you can take your documents everywhere.

I spoke with Intuit/Quickbooks on 2/4/13 and I was told that the ipad is compatible for all customer activity which includes creating invoices, sales receipts, receiving payments, creating proposals and adding customers. What you can't do on an ipad is view the register or reports, nothing related to banking or with your vendors.

how can I transfer or convert my powerpoint presentation to iPad?
- Asked by Lourdes K from Hamamatsu City

Best AnswerApple makes a great app for iPad called Keynote ($9.99 in the App store). it is a presentation maker/editor designed for the iPad with support to import a Microsoft PowerPoint Presentation and convert it to a Keynote Presentation, automatically. You can also choose to export the presentation as a PowerPoint presentation if you need to the best way to get this presentation onto your iPad would be to move it to a folder in your Drop-Box (a cloud based service) and open it up on your iPad via the Drop-Box for iPad app.. If you don't have a Drop-Box account then just email it to yourself and open the received email on your iPad and open the attachment in Keynote. You can read all about keynote on Apples website or on the App's page on the App store.

Best AnswerIf you download CloudOn - this will give you Word, PowerPoint and Excel. It's a bit difficult to get used to using it but it's great to be able to use the applications. You will need to download Dropbox first as this is where the documents will saved. Hope this is helpful.

Best AnswerApple's Pages app. Its a very powerfull mobile word-processor, and makes creating, editing, saving and sharing MS word (.doc and .docx) a breeze! It costs about $10, and is very well worth it.
