Yes, Office 2011 is compatible with OS X 10.9 Mavericks. After installing, be sure to run the Microsoft AutoUpdate manually (several times) to get to the latest service pack.

  • I went ahead and upgraded to mavericks and office:mac 2011 worked!! At least word and excel did anyway. The first time opening both was a little slow but after that no issues. Jim C

  • Sorry I don't know but I want to. I've been using an older version (Word X for Mac) and that does not work now I have switched to Mavericks.

  • I have updated to Maverick, and didn't realize what will and won't work with the system upgrade. Office 2011 is working for me now. I'm upset that iDVD does not work, it distorts my pictures colors.
