Will this allow me to use my old MagSafe model A1222 Adapter with the new Retina Mb Pro? Thanks!
Just want to be sure it's not too old to power the new model.

Yes it will, the A1222 is the 85W model which is the power needed to charge the 15" model MacBook Pro (Retina and Non-Retina). With this you'll be all set!

Yes, but you need to make sure they both use the same amount of power to avoid problems.
