You can use a variety of things to clean it. I've used lens wipes, microfiber cloths and various other soft cloths like old t-shirts. The glass on the ipad is pretty hard but don't use anything that's abrasive. Stay away from any harsh chemical cleaner.

It's completely unnecessary to use any cleaning fluids or sprays. A microfibre lens cleaning cloth does the job perfectly well on its own. It will easily remove all smears, greasy marks or dust leaving the screen just as it came out of the box.

If you own an iPad Smart Cover, fold it into it's "stand" mode (the triangle held by magnets), pop it off of the iPad hinge, hold it from the hinged edge and use the microfiber lining to wipe down the screen. Works like a charm.

Personally, I like to use my glasses lens wipes, or microfiber cloth, whatever you feel comfortable with. Don't use a material that contains harsh hairs or threads of sting or wool, because this may lead to a scratched iPad screen.
