Can I connect a Mac Book Air by ethernet adapter?

Yes. The ethernet adapters are not region-sensitive.
I am using a Thunderbolt to Ethernet on my MacBook Pro 15" Retina, and I can use it wherever I go. :)- Answered by Dennis M
