Best for music software
I would like to run LOGIC music software recording/mixing on a profesional level
What laptop would best suit my needs

It all depends on the amount of money you are willing to spend. If money is no object then go for one of the 17" Macbook pros but if you want something cheaper then get one of the 13" Macbook pros. Try to avoid the Air as it doesn't have the power to run apps like Logic.
