Yes, you can have several if you wish;

Either you may sync your email accounts via iTunes or

Manually enter the credentials into your iPad itself. The iPad has a set up wizard for this.

Open 'Settings' and scroll down to 'Mail, Contacts, Calendars' and select.
Click on 'Add Account' and you will be presented with several popular options such as, iCloud, MS Exchange, Google Mail, Yahoo, MS Hotmail, MobileME and Other.

Other would be the option you would choose for add your own provider's POP or IMAP eMail account.

You may run this set up wizard for as many email accounts you wish.

iPad Mini is very portable so I suggest that you get the iPad Mini. I have an iPod Touch right now. . . and I love how portable it is. Your welcome!!

here are two ways,

either download the kindle app from the app store, sign in with your amazon account and download purchased books from archived items.

or search with safari for amazon cloud reader. this is a web app that runs in safari. sign in with your amazon account and bookmark the page. books can be stored on the iPad, using cloud reader for offline viewing

The latest iPad is the iPad 4. The main difference is that it is twice as fast as the 3rd generation.

I suppose this just depends upon the amount of media the 13 year old will have. If they have an iPhone or iPod, I would go with the 16 GB simply because he/she can store media on those devices and leave the iPad open for apps for school/leisure.

No, this is a Lightning to 30 pin (dock) adapter
It allows you to connect older iPhone cables (30 pin) to your new iPhone 5 or iPad 4 with a Lightning connector.
If you were using a 30 pin cable to charge the older phone, you can use that cable with this adapter to charge your new phone.

As you may have guessed; it depends on what you use it for. However, that being said; for the most part I believe that you should buy the most memory that you can afford. Especially when you consider that the difference in double the memory in this case is only $100.00. If you have previously owned an iPad prior to the retina display, whatever you had on your device, since the New iPad is retina, the applications have been optimized to take advantage of the retina display which equates to larger applications. This means that even if you don't add any additional apps other than the ones you previously had, the amount of memory needed will be increased to support the optimization of the apps to work with the retina display. Flexibility is key, and 64 GB gives you that. Another way of looking at it is: As my mother used to say: "Better to have it and not need it, than to need it and not have it." So, 64 GB is my recommendation. Flexibility.
