AnswerAside from active noise canceling, they are much bigger than the solo... The solo will stand on your ear, making it uncomfortable after a while. The studio rest around your ear.. I used them on a 10 hour flight no problem.. Richer bass and high... They come with a hard shell case, which is better for luggage storage. I recommend...

AnswerYes. Unfortunately the beats by dre studios are active noise canceling which means they require AAA batteries at all time. If that is not what you want you may want to look at Beats Pro, Beats Solo HD, or beats Wireless

pictures of this headphone in beats homepages and this page looks differ.
Pictures on beats homepage, it has a word "studio" above an ear cap, And it also has "beat" inside, But on this page it hasnt.
Is it new type or something!?

AnswerYes you can get green, red, orange, blue, black, white, pink, purple, and a limited edition street art edition(maybe more :P) . For the street art edition, instead of having a glossy finish, its matte.

Can I listen without noise cancellation, or does the on/off switch only turn on and off the headphones?
I usually sleep with headphones in (with no noise cancellation). I just want to be able to hear people knocking on my door, or my alarm clock going off...

Best AnswerThe Studio Headphones require batteries and the batteries help with the noise cancellation. Unfortunately, you can not use the headphones without using the batteries so therefore the headphones will always have noise cancellation.
