Will this enable a mac to support the resolution of 2560x1080?
I have the 29EA93-P (LG 29" Ultra-wide screen IPS monitor) and I cannot seem to get the max resolution (2560x1080) with any of the necessary cables. Will this product solve that problem?

Are you sure you only have an Intel Core Duo processor?
Model iMac9,1 should have come with the Intel Core 2 Duo processor.
(The 3.06GHz processor was an option for the 24" iMac.)
I have an older 24" iMac model iMac6,2 with Intel Core 2 Duo processor. Absolutely no problem running Snow Leopard OS 10.6.8.- Answered by Ewald W from Vancouve

AnswerYes. Works flawlessly with my MacBook Pro. Install the printer software (either from the CD or online download). Then, connect via your WiFi network (through your wireless router) or WiFi Direct, which can have 5 devices connected at the same time, no router needed). There is also a USB hard wire connection

Can I connect my PC with DisplayPort to the Thunderbolt Display using an adapter or cable?
For work, I have an HP EliteBook 8470p, which has DisplayPort. When I'm using it at home, I'd like to be able to hook it up to my Thunderbolt Display.
I haven't found a male DisplayPort to female mini-DisplayPort/Thunderbolt adapter, but I have found a male DisplayPort to male mini-DisplayPort/Thunderbolt cable, which would technically allow me to connect the devices. However, I'm not sure whether the Thunderbolt Display accepts input from anything other than it's attached cable, or whether my PC's DisplayPort signal is compatible. AnswerThere is a Thunderbolt to Digital DV adapter, but not the other way around. If the rest of computer manufacturers adopt Thunderbolt like they did USB back in the day, you'll see more adapters and monitors. Thunderbolt was developed by Intel and Apple not by Apple alone so who knows why there isn't more adaptation by the other manufacturer's.

Best AnswerNo. MacBooks and other laptops can't be charged by USB because USB ports can't handle the amount of wattage it takes to charge a battery of that size. The iPhone, for example, only requires a minimum of 5W to charge, while MacBook chargers start at 60W.

can laptop keyboards be replaced?
I have a 13" Macbook with a light-up keyboard that I've had for around 4 years,and a few of the keys have been damaged or broke off.
