Best AnswerThere are lots of ripper/converter programs out there that you can run on your desktop/laptop. Handbrake is a popular free program. Googling for "covert dvd ipad" will find the commercial ones.
Whichever you choose, you'd then take the files those produce and import them into iTines (File->"Add to Library...")
And then sync your iPad with iTunes and the movies and tv shows will be appear under your iPad's Video app. Alternatively, turn on "Home Sharing" on iTunes and on your iPad, and then you can run, on your iPad, the files on your computer (i.e. without syncing).- Answered by Thomas K from Austin

Best Answerif you buy an app, you don't have to pay for anything else, for example if I buy iMovie which is $2.99...I purchase it and thats it! It's completely mine and I don't have to pay anything else

AnswerYou can put on parental guidance on stuff like explicit music, certain aged apps, explicit books etc. For safari, you can look at their history by either tapping the search bar, (top right of safari) or by holding down the back button. Although, if safari has a black screen, then history has been disabled (incognito/anonymous). You can change this is the safari settings. If it has a white theme then it is in the 'normal' theme and history is available to view. To set the parental guidance I said about at the start,
Go to settings
General
Restrictions (you can set a password so they are unable to change it)
And then select the restrictions.

what apps enable making a phone call from an iPad Mini w 3g, and what charges are associated with making voice calls?
I'm wondering whether I could get away with not having an iPhone (which I don't like using for much besides making voice calls, since the screen is so small) and just use an iPad mini for calls and more.
But I don't want to do this if using it for voice calls is exorbitantly expensive.
