    Bad Quality

I received ipad mini as a gift on the Friday, charged it once on the Saturday. Go to charge it again on the Sunday and low and behold the plug doesn't work!

Ipad mini fast becoming a very expensive paperweight whilst I decide whether it is worth the hassle of seeking out an apple store or just bite the bullet and buy cheaper third party adapters that last longer than for one freaking charge!

I wouldn't be so annoyed if it wasn't for the fact apple charges a lot of money for chargers. They shouldn't break after barely making it out of the box.

    Extremely useful.

The adapter is incredibly useful for charging all Apple devices very conveniently at easy to connect 30-pin lead / Lightning wire to it for all purposes. I would say it would come in extremely handy for any iPod buyer without having to take a dock or a computer with them as they are not provided in the box.

If you are looking for one for iPad I would probably recommend you purchasing the 12W adapter instead purely to charge quicker as it has a bigger battery.

    Really neat, perfect for travel.

The simplicity of the adaptor now without the old school "power brick" is fantastic; just pop it in your bag when you need it on the go.
It can be a little fiddly when trying to plug in a USB when the adapter is in a low down wall socket, but thats not much of a compromise given the new sleeker outline.

    OK but!!!

The iPhone adapter is difficult to pull the plug out of the socket once the phone is charged. The indentations on the side of the plug are not adequate enough for me to grip the plug to pull it out. The plug is too shiny and all attempts to get it out result in my fingers slipping off, I eventually get it off by twisting and putting an object between the plug and socket to ease it out, Most unsatisfactory!!!
Other members of my family agree with me on this.
I have emailed Apple to advise them of this, but have had no reply, I suppose they probably do not want to admit they have got it wrong!!!

It might be a bit pricy for a charger, but you dont want to risk buying this from anyone but Apple. I bought one off amazon for a nice price, but it turned out to be a look alike, and actually blew up on me. This charges phones very fast, and is safe to use with other phones and their USB's.

very good! I know someone who brought a cheap one of Amazon plugged it in and it exploded so i went for the safe option and it worked! much better than a usb!

Just the job for my iphone

Does exactly what it says on the tin, far more convenient than a USB charger, my only complaint, that they are not supplied as standard with all apple products.
