I got these as a gift last year. This was before I had gotten an ipod though. So I used these for my phones and its great. Now that I have an ipod I use them all the time. I would highley recommend them for any small electronic. Alos keeps product warm in cold wheather.

I purchased socks back in 2005 and absolutely love them for my application. I should hesitate recommending them as a stand-alone case. However, if you carry a purse, messenger bag and/or briefcase and don't need a hard shell, these are perfect. Perfect and machine washable when they get dirty.

I enjoy taking a walk in the evening, while the music makes snowflakes dancing all around me... But I've been afraid to see my iPod wrapped by this light condensation strips when I get back home. This iPod Socks now really help against cold temperature. Great product, nice design.

These iPod socks are good if you have an iPod and you dont want it to be covered all the time. This could be because you have a cool engraving. It's also good because it matches all my outfits! so im always color coordinated! Anyway bottom line, these iPod socks rock my socks! lol. U should get them!

This is a great product if you like to listen to group of songs for awhile becasue it gets annyoing taking the ipod out and putting it back in. Its also great that they come in colora but if you change the song on your ipod alot you would have to keep taking it in and out then this is not the product for you.

Ipod touch and socks

I bought these when I bought an Ipod nano a year or so with the chrome on the back and wanted to keepit protected. After recently buying the new Ipod touch I thought I would use one to keepit protected a bit until my new leather case arrived in the mail.
My advice is to take notice of the compatibility and not try to use them on other Ipods. The touch is a little big for the socks and it pokes out the top a bit so not reliable. Great little cases for the other Ipods though, and good for a sneaky screen clean as well.

I love these socks. However they could be a bit bigger. I wanted to use some of these socks for my iPod accesories like my dock, but my dock wouldn't fit in. I can'tcomplain though as they are really only mentfor iPods. My iPod Nano (3rd Gen) fits perfectly!

people keep saying that the ipod socks scratch the ipod
there lieing!
ive had the ipod nano 1g 2g and i recently purchased the ipod touch and i have used the socks on all three there briliant and have not scratched any of my ipods polished backs it even cleans and polishes them when you slip them in and out you can use them to clean the ipod from smudges

These SOCKS are awesome they protect your ipod completely WELL!!!! But if your stupid enough to hold the sock upside down, well your going to end up with a skratched up ipod or even worse with your ipod being broken!!! SO BE CAREFUL!!...

What I mean by my title, is in my opinion, the iPod sock is only good for some particular iPod's.
I have two iPod Nano's (1st gen and 3rd gen) and just recently got an iPod sock. I tried both out on the sock and had different outcomes to perfection.
For the third generation, I found it pretty much a perfect fit. Only a tiny bit tight at the bottom and a bit of extra room at top.
For the first generation, it didn't turn out as well as I thought it would. It was a tiny bit loose all around, which makes it slip out at times.
So for people who are going to use an iPod sock, make sure its something relatively equal or bigger than the Nano 3rd Gen and not relatively equal or smaller than a Nano 1st Gen.Was this useful?

My friend bought these socks to protect his ipod. A week later it was destroyed. These socks are terrible. They cost 25 bucks and why not just buy a case for ten bucks more.

I was wary about buying the ipod sock for my ipod touch, because i thought that there was no way it would fit. But it does and it gives great protectiion for the delicate metal back and they look great. 5 star product!

This is about the best ipod case ever. the only flaws are 1.the price and 2.the sock rubs against the clickwheel (which changed my song.)Buy these for anyone... if you can get past the price. (which I did) SOCK TIP!!!!!!!! If ur traveling...use 2 socks! put 1 sock over the open end of the other sock. your ipod wont fall out now!

I agree that these socks are not very protective, but I have a special use for mine.
I own the iPod touch 16. I have an Agent 18 Eco-case which I love. It's very protective and comes with a dock adapter, my personal favorite feature.
The reason why it needs this adapter is because the case is very bulky, while the touch is very thin.
So, when I'm at home, I keep it out of the case and in my hand. After the first few days, the iPod started getting smudged and scratched on the back from me holding. Also, the screen was getting smudged.
My solution:
iPod Socks. When at home, I put the iPod in my orange sock. Whenever I slide the iPod in and out, it cleans the screen. When I'm holding the iPod, I keep the sock in between my hand and the back to keep from smudging the back. And when I have the iPod on the counter top, it's protected from all the dirt on the counter.
I would not dare leave my home with the iPod in a sock, that's when I snap on the eco-case. But for home use, it has been the best case purchase I have made since the Tough-Skin I bought for my mini way back when, and the reason I loved that one so much is because the mini once fell off my balcony and survived thanks to 1.5 cm of solid rubber.36 of 45 people found this useful
