    Ok sound, Expensive price

    • Written by from Torrance

Well i think most of it was for the brand price just like apple. Also, it was better than the standard apple earpod but i'll say it was overpriced. Lastly, the down side it only comes with 3 different pairs and none of them fits my ear. When i run it just slips out.even with wingtips it still falls out. I would not recommend unless your a fan of just the brand and not the sound quality. Overall too expensive.

    New redesign is brilliant!

I've been through countless pairs of the old tours and they were awful. Kept falling out of your ears, poor design and build quality caused them to break all the time. But, the new design feels very sturdy. Feels like they can at least last a year or so. I like how they have also improved the L jack, it's now smaller and not as low profile which allows it to fit in to phones with a case on. The control talk is nice also, big enough to fit your fingers on but not so big that you accidentally press all of the buttons. So far the design and build quality is excellent but the sound... If you love bass then these are for you. These earphones deliver excellent bass response without any distortion. The highs are very sharp but the mids seem somewhat muddy. You can definitely get better sound for less. For example the house of Marley Zion sound much more cleaner than these for half the price. In the end, you will only get these earphones for that notorious B stamped on the side followed by extreme bass. These are certainly not high resolution but will please some.

    Pretty good

The new beats tours are a bit more bass heavy than the originals and it depends on what you want but I like the new ones better. The new versions are really comfortable and they dont stick out as far from your ear as much as the previous versions did meaning you can lay down and not have the sound get messed up

    Great purchase

This is my second pair of Beats after the volume, microphone and pause controls suddenly stopped working and subsequently down the track the sound started cutting in and out later on my version one of Beats headphones.

All controls work fine on my iPhone 5s(Apple need to update their compatibility list) and no doubt the 5c will work no problem as well.

Only giving 4 stars as my only gripe, which is relatively minor is the right angled 3.5 mm jack which can be difficult to remove when I have my iPhone in a case - sound is excellent(and I like deep bass) right down to the new case to keep the headphones in which is also an improvement from the last version.

    Better than the originals

These tours are a huge shift from the Monster version. The style is very attractive and with the secure fit wing tips, it never falls out of my ear which is awesome for the gym and everyday activity. The sound is more controlled with the bass dropping a little bit to balance it out with the vocals and mid range. Great buy for me.

3rd. pair of Beats, in ear Tour (twice) and Power Beats. I bought these for sports (cycling) because I have a pair of over the ear Dr Dre and are good (3 stars), this were great for a couple of weeks, after that the sound remained great but the buttons stopped working, only the pause/play would work, no Siri, no answer, no volume control, not even the mic!! would answer a call but they could not hear.
Same thing pretty much with all 3 pairs. Why I kept buying? first pair I lost and I thought that it was just a defective product (bad luck), second pair: same thing, gave them to mu son still very good sound. Third pair, well just stupidity I guess!!

    Not bad :)

I bought these headphones 'cause I workout A LOT and after some adjustments to the ear buds and the optional secure clips these are amazing. The "ear pods" from Apple are really good too (I still have them) but I wanted something deeper but wasn't willing to shell out that kind of cash. These did the job and stay secure in my ear even when I'm on the treadmill.

    disappointment

bought this ear-phones couple of weeks ago and i must say the quality is not as expected from Beats and for the price you pay for it, the sound is not as clean and precise as you get from sennheizer or Harman kardon in-ear phones.

    Frustrated

    • Written by from West Drayton

Brought these from the apple store a few weeks and I have to admit the sound quality is awesome and the earphone are very comfortable to wear compare to the old models. All the negatives from the last versions has indeed been fixed. Now all that aside the current issue are the silly wires/cables, these are very thin compare to the old model and that makes these headphone tangle like anything and worse of all, you most of the time can't enjoy listen to your music with the music stoping or on your iPhone, going crazy activating Siri or voice control, stopping the music etc, seems like various faults or wires sensitive/ damaged. Am stuck with these rubbish that is not recommended, unless it's only my model with the issue. Waste of money but I didn't have such issue, I would highly recommend them, when it works.
