    Amazing Sounds!!

    • Written by from GLASGOW

I looked at other speakers in the same price range, but there was really only one choice Bose has always produced total quality & soundLink Mini is no different it's easy to connect with, compact, light easy on the eye, comes with the normal three country adapters, has a long battery life & best of all sounds crystal clear at full volume.

This is a unique Product of speakers. I used it and get smooth sound which is better for hearing. This is my top choice because the past products always sounded canned and muffled. So you can choose it as bets speaker.

    EPIC

This speaker is insane, just buy it. Seriously worth it. The sound that comes out is phenomenal, especially considering its size. The fit and finish is of the highest quality, and connects via bluetooth seemlessly. Hands down the best bluetooth speaker I have come across.

I purchased the Bose mini two weeks ago. Have been using it everyday since. Recently, brought it on a week-end get a way with a few friends. Everyone was blown away by the incredible sound. I was concerned by other reviews about the volume limits. I played it in an outside venue. The volume in my opinion, was more than adequate. This Bose mini was well worth the price, it really has amazing sound.

    Astonishing customer care

    • Written by from cork

I purchased those speakers in January. After a couple of months the unit started powering off intermittently. Send the for repair (15 days turn around time) Bose sent them back as unable to reproduce the issue...funny thing was that the device was not powering on at all.
I had to call back the call center and they wanted to send a replacement adapter...another week for the shipping and the issue was still not resolved. Called back again, a "supervisor" took my call assuring that this time the issue was resolved faster (I was requesting for a new unit since the one I had failed after 2 months and it was for repair already).
Another 15 working days without the unit, the "supervisor" assured me he was going to call me back when the issue was resolved to offer an appeasement for being without the unit for over 2 months but I did not hear from him, trying to send reminder email but he just ignore them.

    Average product until it works.
Customer care the worst I ever had.
    I won't buy it again.

    Best of the bunch

So I spent a long time looking at portable speakers as without it my job would become very boring. I looked at the UE boom and although it louder than the bose the bass just doesn't exist. The Beats pill produces to much 'bass' but no actual thump to it just becomes distorted. I also loud and the larger Soundlink both older version and newer but decided as I travel so much I have to consider weight. I was content that I'd made the right purchase but after getting it home and playing my own music and movies I've been blown away. I will always by bose from now on, I'll even go as far to say as it reproduces sound better than a 40k+ B&o system that I spent 9 hours listening to music on the other day whilst working not as loud maybe but most certainly produced better notes and a crisper sound.

    Phenomenal!

    • Written by from Saint Petersburg

Absolutely everything I thought would come from a Bose product. I thought it was pricey initially for a Bluetooth speaker, but Bose always delivers! I would have given it 5 stars but there is some issue with docking it in the charger. It doesn't line up easily, especially if you buy the soft cover accessory. Other than that, fantastic sound quality, and very easy to link with any Apple product!

Excellent crisp sound! Good at filling medium size room. Great for BBQ!!

    • Written by from Aberdeen

I was first brought into attention of this speaker at the airport, when I heard some quality bass and mid-range sound from the duty free Electronic store. I couldn't believe it was coming out of this little aluminium box! So impressed after playing some of my favourite tracks on it, I ended up buying one for use in my bedroom. Since then, I have used it in every other room and outside in the Garden! Generally, it is hidden out of sight but pumps out room filling music.

The beauty of this speaker is in its construction with quality material and the sound it produce at normal/high volume is truly impressive. At normal/normal-high listening level, it matches my B&W Zeppelin for detailed mid and natural bass. It is restricted by the bass radiators, so at max volume there is distortion with bass heavy music. Acoustic music sounds so smooth and crisp, there are no complaints here.

The battery lasts long enough for an evening of listening without being plugged in. I have taken it on holiday, giving much music pleasure even when abroad! I think it is one of the best looking Bluetooth speaker around at the moment.

If Bose were to update this speaker, I would strongly recommend changing the charging station design and make the power in plug more discreet. As it is, it sticks out noticeably too much, spoiling the aesthetics of the rest if the design.

I think it's a small but worthwhile investment for great portable music around the home.

Best little speaker on the market hands down! Solid sound that absolutely refuses to distort and with a good kick of bass to boot! Take a jump in the deep end and buy one! Guaranteed you won't regret it!

    Bose >>>> Pill

    • Written by from LAFAYETTE

I have beats studios, solos, iBeats, and I decided it was time for a speaker. As you may guess my first option was the Pill. I like the Pill's sound but it was more about loudness than being crisp. I then compared this to the Pill side by side, and the Pill sounds like straight garbage. The soundlink mini delivers both great volume, loudness, bass, and treble. Wouldn't even consider buying a beats speaker after listening to this beast.

This Bose speaker is made for Apple products.

    • Written by from Colorado Springs

I got this for this past Christmas and have enjoyed the sound since. This is not a complicated system that requires sound analysis or anechoic chamber. Sound reproduction can be simple and Bose makes it simple for the masses.

Bose has created items that enhance our recreational activities and down-time. Try this speaker-it works on so many levels!

Rubber bottom made this FLOAT RIGHT OFF TABLE in 2-3 MPH breeze. BEWARE

    • Written by from Eastlake

Took this baby outside while gardening and thought my husband was careless and knocked it off the table. I yelled at him and scowled. Put back up on the cement tiled tabletop and began my chores again. Not too long and off the table it was AGAIN! I yelled again and when my husband came over to the table, he suddenly says, LOOK, I told you I didn't knock it off! There it was, as if there was a ghost pushing across the tabletop, floating across to plummet again. We were floored! We check the windspeed on the iPhone and it was 2-3 MPH breeze. Unfortunately, our new speaker is now far from new. The speaker now crackles and there are two dents in it from each fall. Bad design, why is that there anyway?

The best bluetooth speaker on the market bar none.

    • Written by from Allentown

I received this as a gift and I was blow away by the sound quality. It will fill a large room with awesome sound and without distortion. There is nothing and I mean nothing to not like about this speaker. Bose build quality and sound quality. It is not light but you need those powerful magnets to get this amazing sound. I have literally listened to every bluetooth speaker from $150 to $300 and this is the best. No buyers remorse and no disappointment. Pair this with your iPhone, iPod, iPad, or Mac and you will not be disappointed. If you are on the fence about buying these speakers, get off and just do it. You will not regret this purchase.

Incredible! I purchased it a few weeks ago and it is surprising how powerful and how beautiful the sound quality is. Lots of magnificence coming from such a small device. No need to look elsewhere. I have read old reviews that states that it cuts out. IT DOES NOT. I have it running for hours and never cuts out. Absolutely love it. Nice job Bose.

    Worth the money.

    • Written by from Calgary

There's a lot of junky speakers out there that promise a lot, but fall short. Not these.
They are a bit bass-y, but there are ways around that. We bought this unit for travelling, but the bluetooth connection to these is faster and easier to connect to than our Apple TV, so we find we use them in the house a lot. We have diverse musical tastes; ranging from classical to rock, jazz and country. They all sound good with the right equalizer setting in iTunes.
They are great for car trips. Good sound in the hotel room is delightful.
So is having them out on the back deck. With a decent router and an iPad or Macbook pro, we get our whole library available.
For once, a product that works as advertised.

    Actually Sounds AMAZING!

    • Written by from Boulder

Let me preface this by saying I actually LOATH Bose products. As an audiophile I think Bose's sound quality is quite horrible and overpriced. They pride themselves on good audio but everyone in the audiophile industry know what a joke they are. I was totally against all Bose products until I heard these.

These sound AMAZING for the size and price. I was blown away by how accurate the sound stage was for these. Very clear bass, mid, and treble! In fact the bass response surprises me considering how small they are.

I also own the UE BOOM and it does not even compare to these. The UE Boom bass and mid are muddy and sound distorted at high volume. The only thing the UE Boom has over the bose is portability.

But for everything else the Bose just kick all the others out of the park. I use these on the go in my car as well, they fit perfectly in the middle console and don't shift around while driving because of the material the bottom is made out of.

Don't hesitate to buy these! They are no like the rest of Bose's speakers.

    We'll worth the price

    • Written by from Williamsburg

I have owned and used the SoundLink Mini since before Christmas '13. It is still going strong and producing great music. I play it primarily off of an iPhone via Bluetooth, and use it regularly all over the house, garage, outside deck, the beach, etc. Price paid $200.

Pros: sound, battery life, portability, and durability (has been dropped and got some sand in it at the beach without issue)
Cons: sometimes tricky to line up with the base for charging, occasionally wants to remain paired with previous device

After 6+ months I'd say its a great product with no real negative aspects. If it's in your budget, I recommend the purchase.
