    Terrible...

Was only able to use it a few months....the velcro started breaking apart from the neoprene material. Why doesnt Apple make its own Armstrap anymore is beyond me. I still have my white armbands for previous versions from SJobs...=)...

    awesome product!

What is everyone's problem, there is nothing wrong with this armband. I bought this armband with my 7th gen ipod and it does exactly what it should: keeps my ipod on my arm while I'm running. I have only one criticism with this armband though, I have little arms, so the armband fits my arms fine but I imagine someone with massive biceps or just big arms would find it hard to fit.

This thing is useless. Once the Nano is in the case it's hard to do anything with it. I can't see the screen. What are you supposed to do with the headphone cord? Just let it hang? Amazon has better choices.

The design is flawed. You can't adjust the volume or charge it while it's in the armband. The plastic front is thick and loose making it difficult to use the touch screen features.

This product started to come apart after only two weeks use. The product is not designed to be regularly washed - which surely is something to be expected for something likely to be covered in sweat!

I have had the gen 1 nano this whole time and have been running with nike+ I own three cases for that nano all were functional. This case is not functional. You cant use the volume or the screen button or plug it on while still in the case. and if you are running with it and want to skip a song it takes like a min to get the screen lit again because you have no access to the button. poor design also while brand new strings were no trimmed from the stitching. I would avoid this void product

    Great Ipod sports armband!

I needed a good gym armband for the new ipod my wife gave to me on Christmas and this seemed to be the only kind available. While I agree with most customer reviews about how tight it is making it very difficult to get the ipod in and out of the sleeve, however the reality is that it gets much easier with time. I have been using mine almost daily for 3 months and it slips in and out quite easily now. I perspire quite a bit while working out at the gym so I just make it a habit to remove my ipod after most workouts in order to let the armband dry out properly. It's no big deal!

Adjusting the volume without taking it out of the sleeve can be easily done by touching the ipod button and screen. It works perfectly through the arm band window. Again, it's no big deal!

Lastly, as a sports armband it is awesome. Fastens very securely to any part of my arm. It does not move or come loose no matter how intense the workout.

For me this armband does exactly what it was designed and intended for. A great product!!

works great for what its designed to do

I bought an IPOD strictly for running and working out with music so obviously i needed an arm band too. It works great for what its designed to do! A lot of people are putting this product down because "Oh i cant charge it in the armband" or "i cant control it in the armband"??? First off its designed to be in use when in the armband not charging and second buy different head phones then! It is a tight fit but thats a good thing! That way it wont fall out when im running. To get it out of the case just peel the clear cover off the screen and it comes right out. It does let the sweat in though so make sure you pull out the nano after or let it dry some where where it wont stay wet for a long time it dries faster with nano out. Its comfortable and it works good for what i use it for!

No access to Lightning port, hard to get response through plastic cover, and difficult to get iPod in and out of case. I would avoid this one. The armband is comfortable, though.

I also bought this armband but it is useless. There is no slot to allow for syncing and it is totally impractical. After trying it once, I threw it away - complete waste of money.

    Pretty good case

This case is pretty good. It definitely holds the IPOD snug and won't go flying off. The down side to having to remove the IPOD to charge it is to get out your hobby knife, single edged razor blade or carpet knife and cut a rectangular hole opposite to the earphone plug. Take care cutting as the material is pretty tough and you don't want to cut through the front as well in your enthusiasm. Works great. Also, the volume can be controlled from the front so one doesn't really need to access the buttons on the side. You have to push harder than if it wasn't in the case but it does work.

    Too big to wear.

Bought this for my 11 yr old son, thinking it was fully adjustable. I wasted my money, as it's too loose for his arms. It's not even elasticated. Have to look for something else. This would be fine for an adult or teenager, but I think the part holding the nano should be thicker, or silicone (it's only a thin bit of fabric). Doesn't seem very protective.

    - Extremely difficult to take in and out
    - Cannot charge the nano when it is in the case.
    - Biggest of all, have no access to the volume buttons when it is the case

Overall very disappointed. I''d look elsewhere for a good armband for your new nano.

I suppose it works, but it's annoying.

I received this as a gift, and figured I'd add something to the reviews here.

    - As others said, the iPod fits VERY snugly in the armband, and the only opening is for the headphone jack. The side volume buttons are completely inaccessible.
    - Very comfortable velcro strap, but it has a maximum circumference of ~15.5"... that means it should fit most arms, but be aware of that.
    - I don't have any problem navigating on the iPod while it's in the armband, the touchscreen works well through the protector. But not being able to use the volume buttons is really, really annoying, because you can't adjust the volume any other way if you've set a playlist through the Nike+ app.

I keep using it because it sadly seems like the best available option after looking at the Griffin armband. When I put the iPod in upside down, the case is so snug it holds it anyway, and now I can charge/sync it without taking it out of the armband (but if it stretches out over time, this won't work). And if you use Sound Check while you exercise, the volume issue isn't so disastrous. But all-in-all, this design definitely needs improvement.

Was this useful? I suppose it works, but it's annoying.

Avoid this version of the Incase armband

    • Written by from Vero Beach

We have carried iPods in Incase armbands at the gym for years. However, this version for the new iPod is really worthless. There is no cut-out for the charging cable, so you need to wrestle the iPod in and out of the armband - not easy - every time you use it. The volume controls on the side of the iPod are not usuable while the iPod is in the armband. So, if one song is loud, and another soft, or if you just want to dial it up while running, say, you have to stop, struggle to get the iPod out, just to change the volume. My new iPod is sitting home and I'm back to taking an older one to the gym, because this case is useless.
Oh, and I'm hardly Arnold, but the strap is too short for my arms. I'm 5'8", 175. So, wearable for the smaller person but not an average guy.
I bought 2 of these for Christmas, and wasted the money. Don't do the same.

I purchased this armband; the new iPod nano doesn't fit. Also it is very difficult to adjust the song selection. I hope they come out with something else.

Works well enough, but it's hard to thumb through your music while it is in the case. Also, not very functional when the ear phone jack is at the bottom of the iPod.

This case was the only holder with any sort of attachment at the Apple store, so I bought it so I could run with it. I never made it out running.

First of all, the case is so tight and sticky, that getting the nano in and out is nearly impossible. Second, you MUST take the nano out to sync it with iTunes! There is no slot in the case that you can pass the cord through.

In addition, the basic headphones that come with the nano have no controls on them, so you must use the controls on the unit itself for volume/pause/play/skip ahead. Controlling the unit through the case is ridiculously difficult.

    Wait for something better.
