    Sorely disappointed

    • Written by from Christchurch

This did not charge my iPhone 6 once, not even 50 percent . It charged it 15percent before the battery drained and the power pack died. Took hours to charge for a 15 percent charge. What is the point. Waste of money, waste of time. $130 NZD down the drain.

As I never seemed to be near an outlet when my iPhone 5S ran out of juice, I did some research and purchased this Mophie based on these (8 at the time) excellent reviews. My experience has been vastly different. First of all, I have never gotten more than two and a half (2.5) full charges on my iPhone. As previously stated, it does take a long time to recharge, but either I missed this in the reviews or misunderstood it, but my Mophie also does NOT charge the phone at the same time it is being charged itself. If I plan ahead enough it's still more useful than not having one, but don't expect to get 3-5 iPhone charges out of it, it won't happen.

    Solid, good looking and simple

    • Written by from Muurame

Build quality of this unit is excellent. It feels really solid and looks good. No charger is included, just a micro usb cable. I use the iPad charger for my Mophie. The 6000 mAh capacity can not load a full charge to an iPad that has over 12000 mAh battery. That's just impossible. Work great for iPhone ja gives extra juice for an iPad. It automatically selects the used charging current, so it doesn't matter which port you use (some products have a port for tablets and a port for phones). I'm happy with it.

    Favourite Travel Companion!

    • Written by from Riverton

I don't know how I ever travelled anywhere without this thing; a dozen international flights over the last three months has proved its value to a tenfold. Gone are the days of scrambling around airports looking for plugins and acquiring unnecessary adapters when travelling internationally - being paired with an iPhone 4S whose outdated battery is depleted long before my usage needs are met, my Mophie has been a lifesaver. I usually get about four partial charges (approximately 20%-80% each time) before it runs out, although this varies depending on the battery & your usage while charging. I couldn't recommend this product more for anyone who finds themselves tethered to a wall charger while on the go every day. However, it may be worth checking out Mophie's XL External Battery for an extra $30 - it packs twice as much charge, perfect for people with iPad's or multiple devices.

I loved it, used it to charge my iphone 5, but when i tried to charge my ipad air, it displayed a not charging sign. Should have bought the juice pack powerstation xl. It still is a great product.

This is truly an amazing product. I travel for work every week and I'm always the person huddled around the outlets in the airport....until now.

This is an extremely convenient product and I wish I had purchased it sooner.

    LifeSaver On Vacation

    • Written by from MASON

I bought one before I went on vacation to Hawaii. It was the best thing I bought for my trip (other than my iPad). Long flights with long delays and very few times I could charge my iPhone or iPad using normal charging outlets. This backup charger really works and can use several times throughout the day.

    Fantastic Product

    • Written by from Timberlea

Since my iPhone 5 rarely makes it through a day of heavy use, I finally decided to pull the trigger on an external battery pack before a weeklong trip, knowing I would be out and about for 14h per day.

I really wanted to try out the Jackery products, as they offer a nice-looking product with lots of power at a smaller price point, but they do not ship to Canada.

This Mophie is a bit more expensive, but the build quality is fantastic, the white looks great, and it has enough power to charge my iPhone 5 four to five times. It will also charge my iPad 4.

I throw this in my camera or laptop bag and forget about it until I need it. It's small, light, and packs lots of power. Well worth $100.

    2 Flaws

    • Written by from London

I don't expect this to charge an full iPad. I know how much battery capacity that'd require.

But I think the product has two major flaws:
    - You can't charge the Mophie while you're charging your phone (daisychain). Even if it wasn't possible to charge both at the same time, at least charge the mophie after the iPhone is full when daisychained.
    - The power-in is USB Micro meaning you need to carry another type of cable with you all the time. Ideally that would be a default iProduct lead (such as either the old or the new dock connector, ideally both).

    Pretty but rubbish

    • Written by from HAYWARDS HEATH

Managed to half charge an iPad2 before going flat. Haven't tried with iPhone but can't see this device delivering full charge to both devices as above.
    Sorry expensive, disappointing and avoid.
    No stars from me.

A must have for any tech dependent person

    • Written by from West Point

Mophie juice pack is an absolutely amazing product. It charges quickly (about four hours for a full charge) using the provided cord and the USB to wall adapter for your iPhone/iPad. The product itself is small (about 4 inches long, 2 inches wide, and 3/4 of an inch tall), and easily slips into a coat pocket. Whenever I travel I used to carry my iPhone charger with me everywhere, so I could hunt for a wall outlet. Not anymore. This great gadget gives me four to five FULL charges for my iPhone. I absolutely love it, and would 100% recommend it to anyone who heavily relies on their phone but is plagued by battery life issues like I used to be.

    BUY IT!

    Mophie power in your hand

    • Written by from Ilford

The Mophie Powerstation duo will power up 2 apple products (or indeed most USB phones/tablets) at the same time. There is a compatibility chart on Mophie's web site which I suggest you visit.
It is a sleek device, that can be placed in a pocket/hand bag etc, & is not too heavy to carry around when you do not have access to a power socket.
Apple have the white model as an exclusive, but you can also obtain a black model (if you prefer), direct from Mophie.
This is not the first product that I have purchased from Mophie & it will certainly not be the last.
Charging is easy, although takes a few hours, so would suggest that you charge it over night so it I ready to go with you in the morning.
With the power hungry ipad & iPhone, this product is a MUST.

    Great product!

    • Written by from London

I needed an external battery to charge my iPhone and iPad while travelling. I ended up choosing this model because it charges two devices at once. I'm really pleased with it so far. Seems sturdy. The design is Apple-ish which is nice. Most important, it's very portable and charges quickly. Would definitely recommend.
