Excellent if your a tube traveller or just want quiet environment

    • Written by from Barkingside

I'm a Londoner so the morning commute on the tube is quite loud and the noise cancelling is the best I've ever experienced, even without music, just turn on and noise such as air movement/speech/machine noise are totally removed.

Fit 9/10, as the ear get tucked in the ear muff
Weight is just bang in the middle and feels 9/10
Noise leakage... Yes but who cares, but not too bad ... But you may disturb person next to you (in a library) if music Is on max so 7/10
Value.... Worth every penny if it had built in battery and anti tangle wire... 8/10
    Build quality 9/10

Movies feel like 5.1 surround sound (if supported), where your can hear and feel as it was actually flying past for example game of thrones battle scenes you hear the surrounding sword clashes/arrows flying past in our head flying past from behind your head to the front (if that makes sense)

One thing it lacks ... Is the apple quality, feels like samsung (plastic)... I mean your paying £300 at least give me anti tangle (that silicone feel) wires rather than plastic and a rechargeable built in battery... But after all us said it is the best headphones in this price and worth the full 5 stars even with its 1 or 2 downside.

Sound is great, build quality is lacking

    • Written by from Los Angeles

I can't fault the sound quality for these headphones. However… disappointingly, after owning them for just over a year, the ear pads have completely deteriorated. The foam is spilling out, and the black 'leather' fabric is crumbling. I wore them maybe once a week on average.

I did a bit of research online and I've discovered that this is a common problem with these headphones. The only solution is to fork out money to buy replacement ear pads, which, for such an expensive product, is pretty disappointing. If you don't mind replacing the ear pads every year, go for it. They're otherwise great headphones.

I use these headphones all the time to block out noise on car rides and while studying. These headphones work great and I would recommend them to anyone. These headphones may not be the sexiest headphones on the market, but they are supremely comfortable and they do not hurt my ears after 5 hour car rides to the beach. The best way to describe the headphones is that when you take them off it sounds like your'e in a hurricane. Buy these headphones, you wont regret it!

    Awesome

Bought a set of these from the Robina Apple store and I've gotta say the hype has proved to be correct. Awesome headphones. Light, comfortable and the sound is as it says on the tin. Very happy with the purchase, and the only thing I would say that would improve these would be if they were wireless, BUT, very happy.

Bought Bose Quiet.. In early 2011, use 2-3 hours daily, while I commute on the skytrain.. they work great. Rechargeable batteries last for a week - two weeks.

Skytrain noise is tuned out so I hear detail of U2s Bass Trapp.
I also fly a lot. Love them. Original Cords are still working. I will buy them again if they ever break.

I bought these for long hall travel, but I now use them for everything. They have great sound quality and noise cancelling functions, are comfortable and are still in great condition despite heavy use.

I'm on my third set - the leather around the ear pad separates and the battery compartment latch is frail and will break with substantial use.

I will no longer by Bose products due to poor manufacturing.

The Bose QC15 not only block out most unwanted noise, but they have superb audio reproduction. They are a far cry from ear buds even the $100+ ones. Each note of the music is distinct. They also deliver good bass, but they are not ear thumpers. They can't be beat for fidelity of music in a sound blocking headphone. I would highly recommend that you try a pair with Bose's 30 day money back policy.

Amazing sound! It comes in very clear sound. You hear every note perfect. I so recommend getting these if you care about sound quality. The only brand these can even compare to is Dr. Dre Beats. Both are amazing but definitely get Bose and these especially.

I just got these for a birthday present and they are the most amazing headphones I've ever had. At the moment, I am sitting in a coffee shop next to two LOUD and annoying women. All I had to do it put on these headphones and start rocking out to my music. I see their mouths moving but hear nothing and my music isn't loud at all so I don't have to blast music in my ears to drown out the sound of these women gabbing away like I have to do with normal headphones. This is pure heaven, it is seriously worth it to spend the money on a nice pair of headphones. As a bonus, they come with a really nice semi-hard shell black case with a zipper around it, so you can protect them in your bag. The noise cancellation is crazy amazing. I LOVE these headphones- well done Bose.

Noise Cancelling Always On; No Audio Without Battery

    • Written by from Saint-Hubert

13 of 22 people found this useful

This is one really comfortable headphone but they come with a few drawbacks that really break the experience for me. If you don't have a charged battery your headphones are just dead weight. You cannot turn off the noise cancelling. It's either on or you can't hear anything at all. It's a shame really.

I got myself a pair of these a few days ago and I can't take them off my head! The quality is unbelievable. When listening to songs I've listened to many times before, I notice different elements of the tune that I have never noticed before due to the super quality and amazing noise cancelling technology. They are a great all rounder for every genre out there!

So if you're looking for a great pair of headphones, look no further..

Having been in the military for 26 years and travelling around the world many times, I have tried numerous sets of earphones, earbuds, and headphones. The Bose QC-15 are by far the best I have ever tried. Sound quality is far superior to anything else out there, even the BEATS. Noise cancellation is excellent, even on the noisy cargo aircraft including the C-130. These headphones are the best, bar none! Yes a little pricy but well worth the cost!

    Not what I expected

My wife and I are planning a trip to Thailand soon so I figured these headphones would be a great thing to get for the trip. After buying my wife the new I pad and myself getting the Mac book air I added 2 pairs of these headphones to the order.

I will admit the sound is very good in these headphones. However when you turn them on I got a uncomfortable feeling in my ears. It almost felt like when you are high up in a plane and your ears are about to pop. I figured okay maybe its just a one time thing and I will try them again. Every time I turned the headphones on I got a uncomfortable feeling. What makes matters worse is that you have to buy batteries for them in order for them to work. So whatever they are using to make the noise reduction it had a bad side effect for my ears.

I have a lot of products from Bose(computer speakers, wave radio) but this is the first time I was not happy with one of their products. So after about a week of denial and trying to talk myself into keeping them I brought them back.
