I picked-up two of these (one red, one black) at an Apple Store and they are really great.

Fits super comfortably, quick and easy to clip and unclip nano, totally secure.

Have been at the gym with it and it works brilliantly but unlike the first nano wrist strap i bought this one actually looks stylish enough to wear with a suit or out at night. Also really liked the minimalist look as some of the products i looked at were really bulky with lots of rubber or steel around the nano covering it up.

    Highly recommended!

    Not bad..

    Got this yesterday ...
Straightforward easy installation. Clip & unclip...
The strap is super soft..very nice.

The bad part is that you will need a dremel tool to smooth out the plastic part that holds the Nano. ALL the corners and ALL the edges and joints were super sharp.
I spent 15 minutes with the tool..and just polished it.

Imho..the nano and all apple products have ultimate fit & finish. So out of the box this is not on spec with what apple pumps out quality wise.

The design comes right from Bell & Ross..to my eyes at least.
Make a special edition ..aluminium holder..same bracelet....and don't forget to polish the edges.

I've only had this band for one day, so I can't give much of an opinion vis-a-vis durability yet, but I echo the other comment here -- this band turns the nano into a classy, sharp-looking watch. It turns the nano into a sleek, low-profile time piece with the added benefit that it can carry a ton of tunes and photos -- James Bond for sure.

With the caveat that, as I said, I've only had it for one day, I WILL say that the construction seems durable, and, in fact, there are some smart design features. For instance, the pins that connect the band to the "mount" each have a little prong sticking up (but not far enough out that it will stick you), so that if you need to remove part of the band, it's easy to do by just hooking your fingernail on the prong to depress the spring-loaded pin (unlike with most watches, where it's a total pain to try to compress the connector pin). The clip-in design is also fantastic -- it keeps the nano/watch very low profile and seems extremely secure. Honestly, you can't even tell it's a nano -- it looks like a one-piece watch you'd buy straight from a store.

All of that said, I don't think most women are going to find this band all that great -- it strikes me that the nano is just too big for most women's wrists (not to be sexist, mind you). To see whether you like the look, turn the nano sideways, so that the volume/sleep buttons are on the right and the dock connector is on the left, and hold it up to your wrist. That's what it's going to look like.

This will be great not only for working out and going out, but for everyday use as a watch, as well. Couldn't be happier so far.

    Good idea, flawed design

For the first few months I had this watchband, it worked perfectly. But there's a huge problem with the design; the rubber straps of the band are secured to the plastic iPod mount by metal pins. The mount can, for some reason, be disconnected from the straps by sliding small metal nubs to the side, pulling one end of the metal pin out of its plastic mount attachment. This makes it easy to fix if one of the straps comes off, but one of the nubs is right next to the headphone socket. Pulling out headphones pulls on the iPod in such a way that it disconnects the strap from the mount EVERY TIME the headphones are pulled out, causing the watchband to FALL OFF of the wearer's wrist. This watchband wore out where the metal pin connects to the plastic mount, so the iPod is constantly falling off now. Very annoying.

    iWatch.. time for software update?

I love the idea.. but in practice it's a bit of a pain to keep having to press the power button to check the time. If only there was a software update to have the clock face ON all the time.. or even just dimmed (battery saving etc) then that would make this product 'great' .. as opposed to 'good but annoying'.

The problem with it is the base is made of plastic. I bumped my wrist into a locker door and the base cracked in half. In retrospect, looking at the design, because of the way the nano clips in (which is the right way and very secure) the plastic base has a significant weak point. If the base was steel it would be a lot better.

    Functionality Issue

Band is well-made and looks good, but design does not work well with headphones plugged in. The jack is either digging into your upper arm or the top of your hand. If you plan on wearing the Nano during workouts and running this may not be the best idea.

    Cheap

I purchased this item about 2 weeks ago. At first, it was pretty great. Looks cool.

Within a week, the strap broke when trying to take it off my arm. Pretty flimsy and cheap.

Although I suggest either getting the leather one (50$) which is way overpriced, or nothing at all.

I like the idea but beware, this watch strap is VERY short. The ends do not even meet when I try to place it around my wrist.

I liked this watchband when I first tried it on. Unfortunately, after one day of normal wear the band split near the pin that attaches to the watch base. Looks nice but poor quality.

one time normal use, broken already!

the rubber band is weak, the part that wraps around the pin broke right away after normal use. as much as i'd like to replace it, i may have to look for a more durable watchband, maybe leather instead of this rubber.

this is a durable accessory that is worth every penny. It looks great, is comfy and is a fashion statement. the only complaint is that i think there should be a setting for how long the backlight stays on so u don't have to wake it up every time u see the time, but as a product, its great

I know some of the reviews have said that this might not be a good product for women because of it's size. But ladies, if you like "boyfriend" sized watches, which are trendy right now, you will love this. I have very petite wrists and the iPod width fits just fine. The band also has enough adjustment holes that it doesn't slide around on my arm. I've received many compliments on it and use it everyday.

Best Thing since the Nano itself.

The most ridiculously best accessory made for a Nano. I honestly have no idea how I even functioned without it. It's sleek, lightweight, durable, flexible and outright sexy.

I ordered it Monday, received it Wednesday - awesome! It is incredibly easy to use. You really do just PRESS the clip, SLIDE it on, and CLICK it into place.

You can flip the screen for whatever wrist you were it on. The headphone jack is in the perfect location - the headphones go right up the arm, under my shirt and up through the neck - no more skipping songs, accidental shuffling, annoying song searching - a pray answered!

This should be packaged with the Nano and sold together!

Great look but impractical for exercising with headphones

The first few days I wore this, I really like it and thought I was getting a lot out of a combo wristwatch/iPod concept. But, using it for jogging, treadmill and weightlifting (while wearing headphones) quickly became irritating, as the headphone wire constantly bounces and flings, as I was moving.

When the day comes that the iPod is Blutooth connected with headphones, I think this concept will be awesome. Until then, I can't recommend the iWatchz Q Series.

When I first bought my nano I was using the built in clip but then I purchased the white iwatchz band I have had this for quite a few months. Now with the new upgraded watch faces I decided to get this black one, I wear it everyday. What I like best is the simple installation yet completely secure and seamless, a+ design!

I lost my Nano - Bad strap

    • Written by from NORWALK

Don't buy this product if you value your nano. I lost my nano within a week of purchasing the product. The strap looks good, you feel cool about it, et all, but the hinges are so badly designed that the strap may come loose with slight impact, and you may never notice it, since the nano and the strap are so light. Not sure if there is another strap in the market that is sturdier, but just don't buy this one.

Great way to run with your Nano

I recently purchased a new iPod Nano (6th gen) and was concerned with its ability to grip my clothing while out for a run. I now have a newfound piece-of-mind using the watchband. It does not limit the functionality of my iPod Nano, and I can manipulate it easier now that it is on a fixed surface. I was also able to attach the Nike+ Run Kit reciever, next to my headphones with ease, and it does not feel bulky. Reguarding design, Apple is genius level when it comes to form, functionality, and aesthetics.
