may i see the specs on the ipod generation 3
i have a ipod 3rd generation that was given to me as a gift i dont have the paperwork for it and i want to know how much music and videos does it hold on the back it says 4GB if this helps? and what is the value of it today, i know it resemblles the ipod classic now its just a little shorter and the classic is more advanced. im trying to decide what to do with this one before i go after the classic. thank you.

my ipod is not charging when connected to pc or to charger, but can download songs.
when connected to pc , on my ipod it shows 'connected , eject before disconnecting'. on battery status there is only thunder signal but it is stable. i transferred song and i can see the ipod option on my pc. when i disconnect it and try to 'on' the ipod its not getting started. no display appears.

Doesn't this come with the iTouch when you purchase it new?
I am planning to purchase an iPod Touch 32 GB, but am interested in knowing what accessories I might need. I am already planning to buy a car charger, but will I need this cord, too? Doesn't the new iPod Touch come with a cord to plug it into my iMac to charge?

Is there a chord available that I can plug into my iphone and then plug into a dock/speakers so I don't have to remove my silicone case?
I have a really nice silicone case on my iphone, if I want to hook my iphone up to a speaker system or a dock I would have to slip off the case and I don't want to keep doing that on a regular basis because my silicone case would get stretched/tear.
