The Belkin has overvoltage protection so you can still charge an iPod/Phone in the 2.1 Amp slot. Does this one offer it also?

AnswerYes. The amperage rating refers to the maximum current that particular slot will allow. The device being charged will draw only the current it needs. So you could charge an iPhone in either slot or 2 iPhones using both slots simultaneously, but an iPad can only be charged correctly in the slot labeled 2.1 amps, whether or not an iPhone is being charged in the other slot.

Will this cable fit the iPhone4 with a bumper on it, or will I need to buy another white USB cable? I have cables that do not.

AnswerThe included cable's connector end is slightly too large for use with an iPhone in a Bumper case, but it WILL work with an iPad in the Apple case and most others as well. Also, many aftermarket iPhone cases do have an opening large enough to accommodate the cable included with this package.

Yes. The charging circuitry for the iPad and iPad2 are identical, with a standard 30-pin connector, drawing 2.1 amps (10 watts).
