Is there anyway to connect a lightning connector to a 30 pin connector? I just bought an iPod dock & my 4th generation iPod touch isn't compatible.
My friend just bought a brand new iPod dock to replace my other one that they broke. She bought is a newer version of the one that broke; the only problem is, is that when checking to see if my new purchase had all of the qualities I wanted it to, she failed to see if it was compatible with my current iPod (4th generation iPod touch). My iPod is rather new and I'd really rather not have to go and buy a new one to fit my new dock. I am hoping there is an adapter or some sort of accessory I can purchase to help solve this problem without needing to send the dock back or purchase a new iPod.

At 4MB each, 1 GB of songs is around 250, so therefore 2 GB would be around 500 songs. However, this can vary, according to length and format of the song. If you have a very low quality song, it will take up much less space than an apple lossless song.

AnswerYES you can.. If you pirchased songs on iphone you just need to transfer your purchases from iphone to itunes (google how to do that). If you got songs on any other way you need to transfer them on your computer and then on ipod search google for program called "iexplorer" with that you can transfer songs from iphone to pc or mac :)

Best AnswerThis all depends on the type of compression used and the bitrate. Bitrates can be as low as 6 kbps (phone quality) to more than 1000 kbps (lossless cd quality). Typical is 192 kbps for MP3 and 128 kbps for AAC. A 32GB player will hold about 10,000 songs at 128k AAC, and a 64GB player will hold twice that, or 20000 songs, although this is assuming that the entire drive is used for music.

Best Answerthe 4th generation ipod touch is great, it has a chrome back and comes in black and white. the 4g is very slim and perfect for on the go. however the 5th generation is much more improved, it has a smooth backing, the colours are red pink blue yellow grey/white and black, the 5g is slimmer that the 4g , another fantastic thing is the app that the ipod 5th generation introduces is Siri. Siri is a handy app that you can ask for help and personally talk too, to open siri you hold the home button down and the app appears.

but the 4 can do everything that 5 could
except the things in pros section
so u get the things mentioned above for an extra 100 dollars
so to answer your question the 5 is better

AnswerThere are many differences.
The most noticeable one is probably screen size - 3.5 inches diagonal vs. 4 inches on the 5th generation.
The 5th generation has more of a color selection to offer as well.
The 5th generation has significantly better cameras.
The 5th generation has a better processor (the chip inside), Lightning dock connector, new EarPods, a connectable loop (wrist strap), and is thinner and lighter than the 4th generation.
Another thing to consider is future use - the 5th generation will stay current longer than the 4th generation will. It will also have longer coverage and support more updates than the 4th generation.
