I'm intend to buy a new MacBook Air and it's not clear for me if a Moshi Mini DP to HDMI Adapter with Audio Support will function properly. Does it will send audio and video signals to my LED TV using a HDMI cable?

will this cable connect my mid 2010 apple macbook pro to a hdtv?
I have a HD TV and a mid 2010 Apple Macbook Pro, i know i will need a HDMI cable but will this allow audio and video to my TV from the laptop. And will this allow me to rent DVD's on itunes and watch them through my tv?

Macbook Pro 15" (Mid 2009)
I would like to ensure before I buy this adapter.
My only concern is to view the display on a HDMI LCD TV, will this adapter work for my Macbook Pro just for video only?
