I have a first generation Bose Sound dock for ipod/iphone. Will this iphone 4 insert work and not cause my phone to fry its insides.

    So the universal dock adapter is a passive device. It is purely structural. Thus, if the Bose dock doesn’t fry its insides right now, it won’t once you’ve installed the dock adapter. What this product does is make the iPhone “fit” in a snug, supported manner. At the bottom of it is just a hole, through which the dock connector connects. No electronics, no mishaps.
