If you need to extend the length of the Apple Dock Connector to USB Cable simply purchase a USB 2.0 Extension Cable, A/A.

A USB extension cord is not Mac specific. It will work with both Mac and PC. You can purchase a USB extension cord at most electronics stores - online or in the store. You can try Best Buy, Radio Shack, etc.

I need a longer cable than the standard 39 in.
"RG", you say that one can simply purchase a USB 2.0 Extension Cable. Can you post a link to where I can purchase such a cable, as I can't find it anywhere on this site.
