How does the Quadricopter connect to the iPad/iPhone? (WIFI, Bluetooth, etc)

The A.R. drone and A.R. drone 2.0 both connect to the drone via a wifi network which is created by the drone.
The range is 50 meters (165 feet) however various mods allow you to extend this range.- Answered by Bryce F from Perth
