I've just tested this, in Thailand, on a Thai keyboard.
The central keys on each row of the keyboard (6,7; y,u; h,j; b,n) cannot be used. This means that most of the vowels are unavailable, making typing impractical.- Answered by Dn R from Bury St Edmunds

The existing Unicode support in FileMaker does support and display Thai text. However, FileMaker Inc., have done no formal testing with Thai language input. There is anecdotal evidence on a number of forums that FileMaker fields will not accept the input of certain characters that are used by Thai scripts.
I would suggest downloading the 30-day trial of FileMaker Pro from their web site and testing for yourself. If you are satisfied, you can purchase the product and upgrade your installed trial to a full version.- Answered by David H from Leichhardt
