  • Moshi mini DisplayPort - HDMI will connect iMac 27" (early 2011) to HDTV (LCD or Plasma) {1920x1080} by connecting a male HDMI-jacked cable to Moshi MDP. It SHOULD work with any version of HDMI cable rated @ 10GB/s or higher (which includes MOST "High-Speed" HDMI cables). I have successfully used HDMI cables v.1.3b & v.1.4(a). However, v.1.3a SHOULD work as well. Note: certain "camps" of HDMI technology producer-suppliers are advocating abandoning the "version" designation on HDMI cables newer than v.1.3b…so beware. Personally, unless they are willing to designate their cables' data transmission rates, I'd like to keep the {1.4a} designation which indicates: data @ 13GB/s or more & supports "true" or "full" 3D transmission.
    Bon Chance.

  • Yes it does.

Found that out when trying to daisy chain my Plasma through the Lacie thunderbolt 1TB drive. With an HDMI 1.2 cable it was not working and with 1.4 it works perfectly.
