witch macbook is best and when i get my new macbook do i need antivirus software to protect it?

hi i am a new high school student and i was wondering what macbook model would be best for me if im only going to edit video and photos surf the web and playing games. i also want to know if i need antivirus software to protect it?

    There are no viruses for MacOsX and no malware that isn't already protected against. So I can think of no reason to install anything which is simply going to slow it down and possibly cause problems of its own.

    All it needs is a little common sense. Be careful what you install. Don't fall for scams.
