What is best for gaming, web browsing, music downloading/backup/cd copying, photo storage and most of all speed I'm tired of slow computers

I really don't have an opinion as far as portability goes but if I can have the fastest speed in a laptop with no lag on the web or downloading and as long as I have tons of space I'm fine with one otherwise I'm ok with a home computer
