Erasing data on a MacBook HD
My daughter has an old "pre" Intel MaBook, and I intend to get a MBA for me and get her my MacBook which is newer, faster and with more capacity, than hers. How do I go about erasing all data on my MacBook before transferring the data from hers.

Just do a re-install, and reformat your drive, it will be easiest way to do that.
