Can I add an external CD/DVD ROM drive to a Mini Mac?

I want to be able to play, or burn cd's and dvd's on an external USB drive on a Mac Mini

    My friend has done exactly that, using Apple's external USB superdrive, which costs about 80 bucks. To be safe, you can take your Mac Mini to an Apple store since it is so light, and ask them that right there, to be sure that you have compatible models of each.
