    welllll, you can use the personal hotspot on another device, using internet from that device e.g phone. and connect your ipod onto that network through bluetooth or wifi, personal hotspot is probably the only other option due to the fact that it cannot use a 3G or a LTE network of its own.

    So, no cellular data or anything.

    (Broadband internet refers to the technology and speed of the signal, not a way to connect to the internet)

  • no you can't connect a broadband because a ipod touch is strictly wifi based unless your talking about mifi now that will allow you to use the ipod anywhere you bring your mifi device.

  • You need a wifi connection to access the internet on the ipod touch. There is no other way to get internet access on the device.
