Can I put parental controls on imessage and facetime while still enabling music downloading?

I would like to get an engraved ipod for a 9 year old boy, but I want to enable some parental controls for the games, imessaging and facetime as well as time limits. Is this possible?

    You can disable selective things, Facetime included. iMessage could simply not be set up, if you so desire, and music downloading can still be enabled.

    Time limits, however, can't be set up.

  • you can enable restrictions on Safari,Youtube,Camera,Facetime,Itunes,Ping,Installing Apps,and Deleting Apps. You can change the content for Music,Movies,TV,and Apps which is like changing the kind of music they can listen to if its explicit and that kind of stuff
