is it possible to connect my ipad to use internet through my blackberry wi fi?

  I am able to connect my iPad to internet via my iPhone. I create a personal hotspot on my iPhone then select that hotspot on my ipad when it displays as one of the ones in range. The first time though had to be done through bluetooth & wifi to get the devices to recognize each other, after that it was simple wifi.

• I'm intending to buy ipad mini ( Wi-Fi + Cellular ). Is there any possibility to connect internet to my laptop using this device via Lan or hotspot.
