    Does job with some faults...

I'm writing this from my iPod Touch! This armband does hold your Touch securely, but... There is a slot at the top to put the iPod in but it doesn't fit over the top of the iPod, leaving it exposed. To make matters worse, I wear mine upside down so that I can read the display when I lift my arm. I can see this loosening over time and becoming a concern as to whether it'll keep my iPod from working it's way out. They should have made it to fit over the top better. This also causes a slight ripple in the clear plastic over the screen, which makes gestures less than smooth. I know it sounds like I simply don't have the cover on all the way, but it simply won't get any better. Still, I haven't found any armband I like better. All the other armbands seem flimsier to me. Don't waste your money

Thought this would be nice based on reviews of previous version of product; however, this does not meet the standards of the old product. After placing the ipod touch in this armband, I noticed that there was a large gap on the top which would not close thus allowing dirt, and moisture into the ipod. Also, there is no padding in the band, so your really feel the hard ipod on your skin. Very disappointed with this product and returned it immediately. More

The "shake to shuffle" feature will only work given two scenarios: 1) you must activate the feature. 2) the iPod must be awake.
So, if you turn off the "shake to shuffle" feature, or set your music to play and then turn off the power button (this will still leave the music playing, it will just power down the display), then there are no worries about your music jumping about randomly as you exercise.
